While Mumbai police was doing its inquiry, a lot of gaping holes were pointed out recently by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father in his FIR to the Patna police. There has been an immense tug of war between the Mumbai Police and the Patna police over the past few days over the whole matter. Now with CBI getting approval for the same, it will only get a clearer and impartial view. As per the latest reports, the Mumbai police has been asked to submit the case files to the CBI within 3 days.

Also, reports say that Rhea Chakraborty’s plea at Supreme Court for the case to be shifted to Mumbai instead of Patna is currently being heard by the apex court. Only time will tell if that request gets approved or turned down.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kriti took to Twitter to express her happiness over the matter. She wrote, “CBI it is!!! #JusticeForSushant #CBIEnquiryForSSR #CBIenquiry (sic).” Have a look:

All of Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans are jubilated over this news just like Shweta is. His fans have been trending varied hashtags demanding for a CBI inquiry for Sushant since quite some time. However, the Maharashtra government wasn’t quite keen on sending the case to the CBI, and it was only after the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government requested the centre for a CBI inquiry that it finally got the approval.

Only time will tell what’s the truth behind the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Will CBI be able to uncover the reality? Let’s wait and watch.
