According to a report by Mirror Now, Kangana has been booked under Sections 44, 108, 153, 153A and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. The case was lodged at Karnataka’s Tumkur JMFC Court. As per the complainant Ramesh Naik, who also happens to be a farmer, Kangana’s tweet pained him and he filed a complaint with the Directorate General of Police, Karnataka.

On September 20, Kangana quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet on farm bills had written in Hindi, “Prime Minister, if anyone’s sleeping, they can be woken up, if someone doesn’t understand, they can be explained, but what can be done when someone is acting to be asleep or doesn’t want to understand? These are the same terrorists. Not one citizenship was lost due to CAA, but they ended up spilling so much blood.”

“People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmers bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation,” the ‘Queen’ actress had tweeted on September 21.

The actress hurt sentiments by drawing comparisons between the protest against farm bills and anti-CAA protests. For more update on this case, keep watching Bollywood Bubble.
