On Wednesday night (October 10) Tanushree Dutta filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya, Sami Sidiqqui and Rakesh Sarang at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Police Station. The FIR was lodged on the ground of sexual harassment by Mr Nana on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in the year 2008. The actress was accompanied by her lawyer and she had recorded the statement in English. In her statement, Tanushree mentioned the names of a few witnesses who were present on the day the incident happened. This included the name of then assistant choreographer of the film, Daisy Shah who was assisting Ganesh Acharya.

In many interviews, Tanushree had said that Daisy was present on that day and she witnessed as to how Nana tried to touch Tanushree during the rehearsals of the song. Daisy immediately went to the choreographer Ganesh Acharya with a complaint but she was asked to stay quiet.

Mumbai Police is actively probing into the matter and as per a report in PeepingMoon.com, Daisy Shah‘s name is included in the list of witnesses. The police will question Daisy Shah to know about the whole incident and what she witnessed in 2008 on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’.

The FIR against the four accused has been registered under section 354 and 509 of IPC. Mumbai Police will also summon Nana, Ganesh and the two others and strict actions will be taken if they won’t co-operate with the investigation. We wish the truth to come into the light very soon and if the accused are found guilty they should be punished by law.
