Say What! Deepika Padukone accuses Katrina Kaif of plagiarism
The Coronavirus outbreak has got everyone homebound as self-quarantine is the most vital precautionary measure. Celebrities have been posting videos of their daily activities to keep their fans updated and amused. Katrina Kaif has a very strong social media game these days as she keeps posting funny as well as useful videos. But the actress was recently accused of plagiarism by Deepika Padukone. Yes, the leggy beauty accused Katrina of stealing her idea.
A few days back Katrina had posted a video where she was seen washing the dishes. In the video, Katrina is seen explaining that since her house help has been practising self-isolation as well, so she has to do all her house chores by herself. Dressed up in her casuals, Katrina can be seen giving a quick tutorial on how to wash dishes perfectly with the minimum use of water.
But, was that idea stolen from Deepika? Well, she claims so. The ‘Piku‘ actress posted the same video on her Instagram recently as she accused Katrina of plagiarism- all in good humour. Her caption read, “I regret to inform you that Season 1:Episode 5 stands cancelled because @katrinakaif stole my idea!Hmmff!!!#PlagiarismInTheTimeOfCovid19(sic)”
But Katrina cleared the air as she replied saying she took all the rights from her house help. “Hahaha ……Got the rights from Rupali my trusted aide (and house staff )Haha 😋stay safe …. love u guys,” wrote the ‘Bharat’ actress.
On the work front, Katrina will be next seen sharing the screen space with Akshay Kumar in ‘Sooryavanshi’, which is helmed by Rohit Shetty. It also stars Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in a special appearance. The film’s release date has been pushed owing to the Coronavirus outbreak.
