After entertaining his fans as Pushpa Raj in Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun is now set to star in Atlee’s upcoming action drama. Tentatively titled AA22 x A6, the film is expected to be a high-budget VFX-driven actioner that will see the actor in a completely different avatar. As per the latest reports, the actor has found her leading lady in Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone Joins Allu Arjun’s AA22 x A6

This collaboration marks her second project with Atlee, following their successful partnership in Jawan (2023). The film is generating significant buzz due to its ambitious scale and innovative storytelling. Allu Arjun is set to portray twin brothers in a parallel universe, marking his first double role in two decades. The narrative is expected to be a high-budget, VFX-heavy action spectacle, with Atlee’s signature mass storytelling style.

Atlee took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of her preparation from scripting to creating the action in the superhero film. The announcement video gives fans a first glimpse of this grand collaboration in action, with Deepika seen talking with Atlee, before seamlessly transitioning into full prep mode — donning elaborate headgear and stepping onto set in full costume, ready for battle. Tentatively titled Project AA22 x A6, the film is poised to be a cinematic milestone — blending intense emotion, adrenaline-pumping action, grand visuals, and storytelling deeply rooted in Indian culture for a global appeal. Production is slated to begin later this year, with more updates on the cast, crew, and release timeline expected soon.
