Soon after, multiple reports also claimed that Palaash had been admitted to a hospital as well. While his condition is now said to be stable and he has been discharged, the situation added to the uncertainty around the ceremony.

Amid the chaos, another development grabbed attention online. Screenshots of an alleged chat between Palaash and a woman named Mary D’Costa surfaced on Reddit and Instagram. In the messages, Palaash spoke about being in a long-distance relationship and appeared flirty, inviting the woman for a swim, spa, and even a sunrise visit to the beach. When asked directly if he loved Smriti, he reportedly did not give a clear answer. The screenshots sparked mixed reactions. Some social media users criticised Palaash, while others requested people to show sensitivity, considering the ongoing family health issues.

According to reports, Smriti’s father fell ill suddenly while having breakfast on the morning of the wedding and had to be rushed to the hospital. Following this, Smriti deleted her wedding announcement post and proposal video from social media. For now, the wedding has been postponed indefinitely, with both families focusing on health and recovery.
