Did Sanjay Dutt just confirm Munna Bhai 3? His message for Vidhu Vinod Chopra hints at it

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi starrer Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) continues to remain one of the most favourite films of audience. In recent time, we have seen announcement of several cult films franchises, reports about Munna Bhai’s third installment were also doing rounds on the internet. Sanjay Dutt has now shared a post hinting at Munna Bhai 3.

Sanjay Dutt drops hint about Munna Bhai 3

The social comedy was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Sanjay Dutt took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a promo of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming drama film 12th Fail. In the caption, he congratulated the makers and also mentioned Munna Bhai. Dutt wrote, “Film looking great sirji, praying it’s a winner, all the best, now waiting for Munna bhai”. As soon as the actor posted this, fans started speculating if this was a hint that Munna Bhai 3 is in making.

Not only this post, earlier a video of Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt decked up as Munna Bhai and Circuit along with director Rajkumar Hirani went viral. That video too left everyone wondering if the trio is shooting for the sequel. However, it turned out to be an ad campaign.

Arshad Warsi on Munna Bhai 3

Talking about the franchise, Arshad Warsi in an interview stated, “Munna Bhai 3 may not happen. This is the weirdest thing. We have a director who wants to make it, a producer who wants to produce it, an audience who wants to see it, actors who want to act in it and still it is not happening.”
