Rajpal said, “Ek film bani thi Satya, uske pehle main Prakash Jha sahab ka ek serial kar raha tha. Main yeh serial karne se pehle main NSD mein tha, aur humhara last play chal raha tha. Aur Manju ji ek serial bana rahi thi. Toh unhi ne ek card diya tha mujhe ke, tumlog jab Mumbai aana, toh mujhse milna aake (One film Satya was made, before that I was doing one serial of Prakash Jha. Before I did that serial, when I was in National School of Drama, our last play was going on. And Manju Ji was making a serial back then. She was the one who gave me a card, she told us that when you’ll come to Mumbai, come meet me). ”

The Ardh actor added, “Aur main jab Mumbai aaya, toh sabse pehle Manju ji se mila. Aur unhone ne mujhe woh TV serial mein, chota sa role tha, woh mujhe diya tha. Toh hum ek natak kar rahe the. Natak unhone dekha tha. Unko bohot acha laga tha. Toh woh apna number deke humhe aa gayi thi (When I came to Mumbai, I first met Manju Ji. And she had given me a small role in a TV serial. Back then, I was performing in a play. She had watched my play. She had liked my performance a lot. So, she had given her number to me and gone).”

Yadav continued, “Toh woh hum number, bag mein, sabse jyada, Delhi se chala, toh kuch bhi ho jaye, woh number nahi kho jana chahiye (So, that number, I protected it with utmost care, in my bag, when I came from Delhi).”
