Salman Khan has been receiving death threats for a while now, however, things turned ugly when reports of gunshots being fired outside his residence surfaced. In the wee hours of 14^th April, two unidentified men were spotted on a motorcycle and fired three shots in the air. After the incident, security has been tightened at Khan’s residence. While close friends and family members have already checked up on Salman Khan, his fans are leaving no stone unturned to extend their support after the firing incident.

A few hours back, Salim Khan assured that everything is fine at their place and no one is harmed. He told News 18, “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”

Why is Salman Khan receiving death threats?

Salman has been on radar of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi due to the black buck incident that happened during Hum Saath Saath Hain shoot. Last year, the Tiger 3 actor found himself targeted by a death threat from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar. He declared that the Bollywood superstar was on his gang’s hit list. After the incident, the actor received threats several times and has been protected with Y+ security.
