Farah Khan Reveals Rakesh Bedi, Neena Gupta Visit Javed Akhtar's House For Free Food

Farah Khan reminisced about her nostalgic days at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), sharing how Rakesh Bedi, Neena Gupta, and other friends would often visit Javed Akhtar’s home for free food and drinks. Rakesh Bedi, who is currently enjoying success with Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, recently appeared on Farah Khan’s YouTube food vlog. During their interaction, Farah looked back on those earlier days, recalling how Bedi, along with actors like Neena Gupta, would drop by Javed Akhtar’s house to enjoy complimentary meals and beverages.

Welcoming him warmly, Farah called Bedi “Dhurandhar ka main hero” (the main hero of Dhurandhar) and spoke about their long-standing friendship. She mentioned that she was just 15 years old back then, while Bedi was studying at FTII.

Farah said, “FTII se yeh log roz aate the Javed uncle aur Honey aunty ke ghar free ka khaana aur free ki daaru peene, aate the vahan par toh hum sab milte the (They used to come daily from FTII to Javed uncle and Honey aunty’s house for free food and drinks, and that’s where we all met).”

She further added, “He used to come with Farooq Shaikh, Satish Shah, Neena Gupta, and Supriya Pathak. Humari purani dosti hai (We’ve been friends for a long time), but we are meeting after a very long time.” Farah also shared that she was 15, while Rakesh was around 25.
