Renowned fashion designer Wendell Rodricks passed away on Wednesday at his Goa residence. He was 59 at the time of death. He was an ace designer who had a good rapport with Bollywood celebs and he also had contributed a lot towards society as he was also a social activist.

The Padma Shri award-winning designer reportedly passed away due to a heart attack.

Rodricks made an appearance in movies like ‘Fashion’ and ‘Boom’ among others. He launched his fashion brand in 1989 and retired from his label in 2016.

The Fashion Design Council Of India mourned the death of Wendell Rodricks. Their tweet read: “FDCI is deeply disheartened with the sudden and untimely demise of one of the country’s iconic designer, Wendell Rodricks. The fashion fraternity lost a legend today. Wendell, we will miss you.”
