Filmmaker Guneet Monga tests COVID positive; under self-quarantine

Filmmaker Guneet Monga has tested Covid-19 positive. She took to her Instagram handle and announced that she had tested positive for Coronavirus. In her post, Guneet wrote that she has quarantined herself and is taking all the measures to fight the virus with the guidance of her doctor. She has requested those who came in contact with her to get tested. She also wrote that she is now recovering well.

Her post read: “Dear All, Despite taking due care and all the necessary precautions, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I am under self-quarantine and taking all the measures to combat the virus with the guidance of my doctor. I am now recovering well. It’s a sincere and an urgent request for whoever has come in contact with me recently to kindly get themselves tested. Please take care and stay safe!(sic)”.

Also, Radhe Shyam actress Pooja Hegde has contracted the deadly virus and has isolated herself. Sharing the news on her Twitter handle, Pooja wrote that she is following all the protocols, isolating and home quarantining herself. She also urged everyone who had come in contact with her to get themselves tested.

Coming back to Guneet Monga, her latest offering was Pagglait that starred Sanya Malhotra, Sayani Gupta, Raghubir Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang among others. The movie was well-received by critics and audiences.
