Hema Malini wants to open Natyavihar Kala Kendra Charity trust in order to provide a platform for various cultural activities including music, dance and drama. For this, she had applied for an empty plot in Andheri, Mumbai area in 1996. However, it’s been almost 20 years now, but, her application was still under process. Finally, the State Revenue Minister Mr. Eknath Khadse granted her the permission to build a charitable trust on the empty plot Hema Malini was eyeing for. Good news for Hema, indeed! But this permission has come with the tag of terms and conditions applied. The Government has put forth many conditions in front of Hema Malini before granting her the permission. According to this terms and condition, Hema Malini’s charitable trust has to build a garden on that 2,000 sq ft plot with her own money and this garden has to be open for common public. Apart from this, she has been asked to build the structure of her charitable trust within two years from the time of actual possession of the land. Failing to comply with the conditions, Hema Malini will have to give away the land back to the Government. The final process of transferring the land will be done only after the trust has fulfilled the conditions laid down by the Government.

Well, in a way it’s a good news for Hema because she had been waiting for this permission for a very long time. Way to go dream girl!
