Rahul Bose directorial first look

After ‘Everybody Says I’m Fine’ (2002), Rahul Bose is all set to make his directorial comeback with a film titled ‘Poorna’. The film is based on Malavath Poorna who has a world record of being the world’s youngest girl to scale Mount Everest. The first look of the film will be unveiled at the Mount Kilimanjaro Summit.

Malavath is all set for her next expedition, to Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro with 17 other girls. She will be unveiling the first look of the film at the mountain summit on the Independence Day.

Rahul said, “We gave her two waterproof posters to carry along. She begins her ascent on August 10 and will unfurl the longest National Flag ever on August 15 at the summit.”

Unfortunately, Rahul won’t be able to accompany her at the summit. He said, “We are three weeks away from receiving the first copy of the film so I can’t think of going anywhere. Also, I would have had to undergo training if I wanted to make the climb.”

The promotions of the film will start two months in advance with a countrywide campaign. Rahul will be launching the trailer and will also showcase the actual footage, giving audiences a first hand experience of the climb.
