Happy Birthday Dharmendra: Veteran actor receives warm wishes from Hema Malini, neighbor Ajay Devgn sends love

Bollywood’s He-Man Dharmendra is celebrating his 87th birthday today(December 8). The actor whose movies have had a glorious run at the box office celebrated the occasion with a special pooja at his home. On his 87th birthday, his fans and colleagues from the industry have flooded social media with warm wishes. Dharmendra’s wife, actress and politician Hema Malini too shared a special post for him on Twitter. So did actor Ajay Devgn.

Son Bobby Deol shared a picture of his father performing pooja on his birthday. Sharing the picture he wrote, “So blessed to be your son and grandson ??Happy Birthday Bade papa @aapkadharam ❤️❤️”

The picture shows Dharmendra in a shirt and trousers, sitting in front of the holy fire with a garland around his neck. He is seen holding hands with Bobby and Karan sitting on each side.

Ajay Devgn also wished the dashing star and wrote,n “Dearest Dharamji. Happy birthday Sir. You are my neighbour & my favourite. And you continue to rock. Lots of love & warm wishes.”

The veteran actor responded to him, saying, “Jeetey raho Ajay, you are my loving neighbour and I am your loving uncle. Love you always.”

Arjun Rampal took to his Instagram and wrote, “Happy Happy birthday dearest @aapkadharam ji the most Handsome man in the industry, with the largest heart. Love and best of health and happiness.(sic)” Bobby Deol also dropped heart emojis to Arjun’s wish.

On the work front, Dharmendra will be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The movie features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the leading pair. It also has Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. The movie will hit theatres on April 28 next year.
