Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast of Prakash Jha’s much-awaited Aashram 4 and has commenced shooting for the upcoming season. While this news was broken earlier today, Bollywood Bubble now has some more information about the project and the actor’s shoot schedule though details about his character are still tightly under wraps.

Akshay Oberoi To Begin Filming For Bobby Deol-Led Aashram 4 This Week

While earlier today reports surfaced that Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast of Prakash Jha’s much-awaited Aashram 4, Bollywood Bubble has learnt some exclusive details about his shoot schedule. As per our source, the actor – who will be seen playing a pivotal role in Yash-led Toxic, will begin shooting for the Bobby Deol-led series in Bangalore by the end of this week. The source tells us that before he kickstarts shooting this series, Akshay will wrap up all pending promotions for Toxic.

Our source also informs us that Akshay has already commenced prepping for his part in the upcoming season of the crime drama. As per our birdie, the actor was part of a couple of workshops last week.

Akshay On Joining The Series

Taking to social media, Akshay announced his association with the series and shared his excitement about joining the much-loved franchise. Speaking about joining Aashram 4, the actor said, “Joining a show like Aashram is genuinely exciting because it has created such a strong and distinctive world over the years. Prakash Jha sir has a very unique way of telling stories, and the characters in this universe are never straightforward.”

He continued, “When I heard about my character, I was immediately intrigued. There is a lot I cannot reveal at this stage because we are keeping the details under wraps, but I can say that it is a role that challenged me and made me very excited to come on board. I’m really looking forward to being part of this world and working with Prakash Jha and the incredible team.”

With Akshay Oberoi joining the ensemble and production now underway, expectations around Aashram 4 have only grown. While the makers continue to maintain secrecy around the new characters and storyline, Akshay’s addition promises another compelling performance to look forward to when the cult franchise returns.
