Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Karan Johar

Of late there have lots of reports of Kajol and Karan Johar’s patching up, discreetly. The two who had been thick as thieves since decades had a feud last year when Karan Johar’s movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was set to clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ during Diwali. Self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan had stated that Karan Johar had paid him to praise his movie and bash Ajay Devgn’s movie. Kajol was extremely shocked by it and tweeted expressing her disappointment. That led to a much-hyped feud between Kajol and Karan Johar. The rivalry between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar was even older and reports also stated that the issues between Kajol and KJo had started even before the clash.

Post that, Karan Johar spoke at length about his fallout with Kajol in his autobiography, ‘An Unsuitable Boy’. He had written, “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We’ve had a fall-out. Something happened that disturbed me deeply which I will not talk about because it’s something that I like to protect and feel it would not be fair to her or to me. After two and half decades, Kajol and I don’t talk at all. We just acknowledge each other, say ‘hello’ and walk past.” Now, this has eventually become a thing of the past as recently, there have been reports of a patch up between them. It all started when on Raksha Bandhan, Karan shared the first picture of his twins and Kajol liked the picture which was followed by Karan following her on social media. Then, reports stated that Kajol invited Karan over for an informal dinner on her birthday and that’s when they broke the ice. Now, as Kajol’s actor-hubby Ajay Devgn is promoting his soon-to-release flick ‘Baadshaho’, he was quizzed by a leading news agency, about the patch up between Kajol and Karan Johar. He said, “I have never ever spoken about personal topics and issues. So this is something very personal I really wouldn’t like to talk about it. I’ve maintained this, in general, that I do not speak about personal life.”

His movie ‘Baadshaho’ is slated to release September 1, 2017. The movie which is directed by Milan Luthria also stars Ileana D’cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal in lead roles.
