Here’s how Salman came to Anupam Kher’s rescue at IIFA 2017

This year, the prestigious Indian Film Academy Awards was held in New York, which was attended by the most glamorous faces from the world of Bollywood. Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon and many more were a part of this ceremony. Veteran actor Anupam Kher too made it a point to attend this ceremony. But unfortunately his health deteriorated there and he had to undergo medical examination. Anupam Kher recently revealed it to DNA that he suffered a sudden blackout. He narrated the entire scene as to how Salman helped him in that situation.

“Firstly, it was not a heart-related ailment, meaning a heart attack as the blind item in a tabloid implied. Why so coy about it? I’ve nothing to hide. We were all together in Salman Khan’s room in New York when I had a blackout. I had not eaten anything for one-and-a-half days, big mistake, and my sugar-level had gone down dangerously,” Anupam Kher revealed.

Further stating, “He called the paramedics, who rushed in immediately. The laws in the US about medical emergencies during international events are very strict. No one can take them lightly. Salman was certainly of great help to Anupam Kher in such a situation. The veteran star couldn’t stop praising Salman and stated, “He not only called for medical help, but he also remained on alert all through. I am blessed to have friends like him in the film industry.”
