Bigg Boss 20 premieres with Salman Khan as host, as Kanika Mann becomes the first contestant to enter the reality show.

Bigg Boss 20 has officially premiered with Salman Khan returning as the host of the popular reality show. The grand premiere took place on September 6, with the episode streaming on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airing on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. The premiere saw several contestants making their entries into the Bigg Boss house, with Kanika Mann being the first contestant to step into the spotlight. Scroll down to read the full story.

Bigg Boss 20 Contestants List

Kanika Mann

Kanika Mann became the first contestant to enter Bigg Boss 20. She made a glamorous entry by dancing to Dhurandhar’s popular song Shararat. During her introduction, Salman Khan revealed that Kanika is his mother’s favourite. Kanika has been a familiar face on television and OTT platforms since making her acting debut in 2016 with Badho Bahu. She gained wider popularity with her role as Guddan in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega. In 2022, she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and also made her OTT debut with Roohaniyat. She was last seen in Naagin 7 earlier this year.

Aasif Khan

Aasif Khan entered the Bigg Boss 20 house as the second contestant. Salman Khan introduced him while calling him “Ott ki dhaniya and jaan”. Aasif is known for his work across Hindi films and web series. He gained widespread recognition for playing Ganesh, the groom, in Panchayat and also portrayed Babar Khan in Mirzapur. His other notable projects include Paatal Lok, Jamtara, Human and Dehati Ladke. His film credits include Pagglait, Kakuda, The Great Indian Family and The Bhootnii.

Qazi Touqeer

Qazi Touqeer, popularly known as “Rockstar”, entered Bigg Boss 20 as the third contestant. He is best remembered for playing the fictional rock star Rudraksh Khurana in the StarPlus show Yeh Hai Chahatein. Around two decades ago, Qazi was known for his Rockstar image, and he now returns to the spotlight as a contestant on Salman Khan’s reality show.

Isha Rikhi

Popular rapper Badshah’s ex-wife Isha Rikhi is also part of Bigg Boss 20. She recently confirmed her separation from Badshah after five months of marriage. With her entry into the reality show, Isha hopes viewers will get to know her beyond her personal life and understand who she really is.

Amrapali Dubey

One of the most popular and highest-paid Bhojpuri actresses, Amrapali Dubey has entered Bigg Boss 20. She began her acting career with Hindi television in 2009 before making her Bhojpuri film debut with Nirahua Hindustani in 2014. She subsequently appeared in several successful Bhojpuri films, including Border, Sher Singh and Aashiqui, and has won several awards for her performances.

Love Gill

Punjabi actress Love Gill has entered Bigg Boss 20 after winning the audience vote against Rhiya Ahir. Known for her work in Punjabi music videos, television and films, Love now joins Salman Khan’s reality show. Her entry was marked by a tense exchange with Rhiya during the grand premiere.

Mary Kom

Boxing legend Mary Kom is another prominent contestant to enter Bigg Boss 20. Salman Khan introduced her as a six-time world champion, Olympic medallist, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games champion, and Padma Vibhushan awardee. Mary entered the Bigg Boss house with her two sons. Priyanka Chopra, who portrayed her in the biographical film Mary Kom, also sent a warm message for the boxing icon.

Yung DSA

Pune-based Marathi hip-hop artist Yung DSA has also joined the Bigg Boss 20 house. Reportedly born Harsh Vijay Machare, the young rapper is 22 years old. Known for his work in the Marathi hip-hop scene, Yung DSA will now get an opportunity to showcase his personality to a wider audience through Salman Khan’s reality show.

ScoutOP

Digital creator and esports player Tanmay Singh, popularly known as ScoutOP, is another confirmed contestant. He began his professional esports career in 2018 and has represented teams including Fnatic and Orange Rock. With millions of followers, ScoutOP has built a substantial fan base through gaming streams, videos and vlogs. His entry brings a strong digital and gaming presence to the Bigg Boss house.

Kushal Tanwar (Gullu)

Reality TV star Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, has entered Bigg Boss 20 after winning shows including Roadies, Splitsvilla 20 and Maa Hai Na.

Aman Gandhi

Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame Aman Gandhi is also part of the new season, adding another television face to the contestant lineup.

Uditi Singh

Actor-model Uditi Singh has also joined the Bigg Boss 20 house. During her entry, Salman Khan compared her looks to Kareena Kapoor. Uditi opened up about her earlier work and revealed that she had featured in a song with Himesh Reshammiya. She has also previously been in the news for her relationship with actor Karan Wahi.

Rhiti Tiwari

Manoj Tiwari’s daughter Rhiti Tiwari has entered Bigg Boss 20 as a contestant. During her introduction, Salman Khan revealed that Manoj had paused his professional commitments to support his daughter and even made a special appearance to drop her off. Rhiti is a singer and composer. Salman also shared advice that she had received from her father based on his experience on Bigg Boss 4.

Arishfa Khan

Beauty and fashion influencer Arishfa Khan is reportedly among the contestants of Bigg Boss 20. With 29.1 million Instagram followers, she has established herself as a prominent digital creator. Born in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Arishfa has worked in television shows, music videos and commercials. She is also known for her love of cats and has said that she has 10 cats, whose social media accounts have also attracted followers.

Mahhi Vij

Popular television actor Mahhi Vij has also entered the Bigg Boss 20 house. She recently returned to television with Seher Hone Ko Hai and became the last contestant to enter the reality show. During her introduction, Salman Khan revealed that Mahhi had been approached for Bigg Boss several times but had previously declined. This time, her three children, Tara, Khushi and Rajveer, encouraged her to participate. Tara was also present to support her during the premiere.

Rohed Khan

Rohed Khan has officially entered Bigg Boss Season 20. He is an Austrian actor and model with a strong martial arts background, known for his intense, action-oriented roles in Hindi films. Notable Bollywood appearances include playing the antagonist Sarqalam in Tejas (2023) and a militant leader in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024). Beyond Bollywood, Rohed has featured in projects like Sarzameen, Detective Sherdil, and the international drama Les Clochettes de Kaboul. He also revealed that he was initially cast in Squid Game 2, but had to pass due to scheduling conflicts with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

During his introduction on the show, it was shared that Rohed met Salman Khan years ago while the superstar was shooting Tiger in Austria. Rohed had expressed his dream of working with Salman, even making it his first Instagram post as a manifestation. That dream came true on the Bigg Boss stage, marking a full-circle moment in his journey.
