How Kartik Aaryan rose to superstardom without any big banner backing him

There are quite a few stars who have struggled a lot in the industry to gain the utmost recognition for their work. Among many, the one such actor who has achieved this position in the industry on his own merit is Kartik Aaryan. His latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had an unprecedented release post pandemic for a Hindi film with an opening day collection of 14.11 crores and a total of Rs 55.96 crores on the first weekend Alone.

Many hailed Kartik Aaryan as he beat big backing films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt and YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar starring Ranveer Singh and that too without any top cream of filmmakers backing him. And this is not his first time, he has always delivered hits after hits with either upcoming directors or smaller banners rather than established names. His films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Luka Chuppi have turned out to be successful at the box office and did strike a chord with the audience.

He entered the industry as an outsider and established a position at the top with no godfather or big banners standing behind him. This kind of journey reminds us of the paths trodden by the likes of Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. It’s been fascinating to see his journey to the top like this and hopefully, he will keep growing with films like Shehzada, Captain India and many more to come.
