We have some bad news for Kartik Aaryan fans. As per reports circulating, the ‘Chandu Champion’ actor has sustained a serious knee injury while filming his upcoming sports drama directed by Kabir Khan. Scroll below to know the details about the injury and the actor’s recovery process.
Kartik Aaryan Injured On The Sets Of Kabir Khan’s Next
As per a India Today report, Kartik Aaryan sustained severe knee injuries while filming key action sequences on the last day of shooting his upcoming. According to the write-up, the Kabir Khan directorial – which was being shot in Mumbai, was in the last stretch of filming. Only major action sequences were left to be shot over the next two days. It was during this shoot schedule that the actor suffered the injury.
Soon after the injury, Kartik was rushed to Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mahim, where he’s being treated. The actor will reportedly undergo a knee surgery within a day and will be required to take a few days off to recover. While he is nearly done with the filming of Kabir’s yet-untitled sports drama, he still has several more work commitments in the pipeline that he will honour as soon as he recovers.
Kartik’s Other Commitments
As per the report, once Kartik Aaryan recovers, he will first begin work on Anurag Basu’s next untitled romance. The filming of this project has been going on in stretches across the country over the last one year. This will – co-starring Sreeleela in the film, is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. While the film was initially scheduled to release on December 5, 2025, it has been indefinitely postponed.
