Hrithik Roshan Anand Kumar Super 30

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has been going through a rough patch in his career. The actor’s ‘Super 30’ has been involved in plenty of controversies and it has not been a smooth journey at all. ‘Super 30’s trailer was recently unveiled and it was greatly appreciated. Now, it has been involved in yet another row. Yes, you have read it right! ‘Super 30’ is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar.

Earlier, a PIL was filed by four IIT Guwahati students against mathematician Anand Kumar. As per the report in Mid-Day, the students are miffed with the makers for releasing their project despite an ongoing case against Kumar.

According to the students, Kumar falsely ‘helped’ students to bag a seat in his Super 30 course. The film talks about how Anand Kumar helps underprivileged students in achieving their dreams. The students Avinash Baro, Bikash Das, Monjit Doley and Dhaniram Taw demand to know the names of 26 students out of 30 who were successfully enrolled in IIT. The students are demanding a stay on ‘Super 30’s release.

“The film seems inauthentic. We never sought to damage the film, but he has a court case against him. His reply to PIL doesn’t address the allegations completely,” said Amit Goyal, legal counsel of the students.

Goyal further added, “He is yet to reveal the names to the court. In such a scenario, this movie can send out an incorrect message.”

Hopefully, Hrithik Roshan and Anand Kumar themselves can clear the air regarding the controversy. ‘Super 30’ is being directed by Vikas Bahl (got a clean chit in the sexual harassment case) and will be releasing on July 12, 2019.
