Jersey Celeb Review: Mira Rajput, Varun Dhawan heap praise on Shahid Kapoor for his stellar performance

Jersey, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, stars Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on Friday, April 22. And, Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor is riding high on positive reviews from fans and critics. Ahead of the movie release, a special screening for industry personalities was hosted by the makers of the Shahid movie. Celebs who attended the screening of Jersey have shared their review on the movie. Mira Rajput, Shahid’s wife, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Ishaan Khatter, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kunal Kemmu have shared their experience after watching the movie.

Taking to Instagram, Shahid’s family members firstly heaped praise on him. Mira Rajput, Shahid’s wife, shared her review on Jersey. Mira shared a post on her Instagram stories and wrote, “You are magic @shahidkapoor. Its been a long journey till the end of this ‘Test’, every innings brought a new twist. But you knocked it out of the park!”

Ishaan Khatter shared a post on his Instagram stories and called his brother ‘powerhouse bhaijaan’. He said he is filled with pride as a brother and respect as an actor. He wrote, “As a brother, I’m filled with pride, as an actor with respect, and as an audience with admiration for my powerhouse bhaijaan @Shahidkapoor. Thank You for sharing what you did through this character. @Gowtamnaidu Thank You for the emotional experience that as an audience I always secretly crave.”
