Kajol recalls shooting in -27 degrees for Fanaa in a salwar kameez while Aamir Khan wore a ‘thick jacket’

Kajol and Aamir Khan starrer Fanaa released in 2006. Today, Fanaa completed 17 years of its release. On the special day, Kajol shared her experience of shooting a song at minus 27 degrees. Kajol recalled shooting for a song wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on frozen lake while co-star Aamir Khan was wearing a ‘thick jacket’. Kajol then asked her fans to salute women and heroines around the world who do these things to look good on screen.

Fanaa completes 17 years

Kajol shared a video clip from Fanaa with Mere Haath Mein song playing in the background. She wrote in the caption, “One of my oh so many “comebacks” but Zooni will always remain special to me simply because I just had to be me without my glasses. #Nerds rock! And since you guys loved my memories let me give you some more…”

She added, “Poland was -27 degrees centigrade on the first day of shoot and I was wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake with the wind chill factor aside… #AamirKhan on the other hand had bought himself a nice thick jacket from the local market just for the shoot. So his face did not have the natural pain that was there on my frozen face!! And the cherry on top of the whole scenario was that the whole song was scrapped and RESHOT when we got back to Mumbai!!”

The actress went on to add, “Can we all just salute women and heroines all over the world who do these things and much worse just to look good! #17YearsOfFanaa.”

Fanaa was one of the most loved films back then. Aamir and Kajol’s chemistry won hearts. Fanaa also starred Rishi Kapoor, Kirron Kher, Ali Haji and Tabu.

Kajol was last seen in Salaam Venky. Aamir Khan made a special appearance in the film. The actress will be making her OTT debut with The Good Wife: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha. The upcoming web series will premiere on Disney+Hotstar in July.

On the other hand, Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chadha with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor is currently on a break.
