Kangana Ranaut Likes Karan Johar

Kangana Ranaut, who is basking in the success of her latest release ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ has revealed that she likes ace filmmaker Karan Johar. The Queen of Bollywood graced the couch of Karan’s famous chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ season 5, and due to her honest opinion on nepotism they had a major fallout.

It is to be noted that Kangana Ranaut had called Karan Johar the flag bearer of nepotism. From her recent comment, it looks like she has forgotten all the past things and moved on. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana said, ‘There are people who live on their face value. I Like Karan Johar, I really like him, he is in your face whatever he is.’

Alleging certain people belonging to the film industry, Kangana said, there are people in the industry who talk about women empowerment for hours but they did not have time to see her film. She said, “I had expectations from a few people and this film is not only about women empowerment, but it’s beyond that.”

Talking about Nepotism’s effect in the film industry, She said, “This kind of ganging up, what it shows is it’s really cruel face of them which I can’t defend.’ The actress also added, ‘Itihaas tumhe maaf nahi karega.”

Director Krish, who has reportedly left ‘Manikarnika’ midway citing other commitment, accused Kangana Ranaut of taking away the directorial credit. Speaking about the controversies surrounding by ‘Manikarnika’ and Krish’s accusation, Kangana denied the allegations against her and said that after Krish left, she discarded the whole film and started her direction.

‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ was released on January 25 across the country. The film received positive reviews from the audiences and critics alike.
