Kapil Sharma

Comedian Kapil Sharma who recently landed himself in trouble after accusing a BMC employee of demanding bribe and also taunting ‘Achche Din’ on Twitter, recently shot for his Television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in Goregaon film city amidst tight security.

Kapil’s remarks soon led him to trouble as BMC fired back with an FIR accusing him of illegal construction of his office at Andheri. Since then, there have been threats for the actor-comedian. Hence he had to shoot for the show amidst high security. The episode was a promotional one for Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri’s upcoming release ‘Banjo’ and could not be delayed at any cost.

“There is extremely tight security right from the entrance of Film City all the way up to the stage where the shoot is happening. Every passer-by has been asked to show their identification proofs and no one other than the most crucial members from the unit is allowed inside. Identification bands have been given to people who have come as the audience on the show. So much so that even boarding a taxi outside the premises of the studio is a hassle purely because the security is badly behaved and extremely rude with men and women alike. Till about 8 in the evening, there was no trace of the host while his guests were ready, briefed and waiting for the shoot to commence,” an eye-witness told a leading daily.

Kapil was also challenged by BMC earlier, to prove his allegations against the concerned worker.
