Karan Johar received a call from THIS actor asking for work after Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

Karan Johar made a smashing return as a director after 7 years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer has collected over Rs 65 crores in 6 days and is enjoying a glorious run. Amid the success, Karan received a call from a renowned actor he has known for so many years. And not just to appreciate the film, but the call was to ask for work.

Rohit Bose Roy called Karan Johar for work

Rohit Bose Roy was recently seen in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. However, his journey was cut short as he had to quit due to an injury. The actor has had an illustrious career spanning over TV, OTT and films. Recently, he has had a good phase, but before that, he has faced his fair share of struggles as well. That phase has made him strong enough to ask for work when needed. And he did that recently with Karan.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Rohit revealed, “I have called people and said that I want to work with you. Recently, I called Karan Johar and said that I have known you for such a long time, I am doing good work, you say that I am doing good work, so why are you not giving me work?”

The actor joked that now he hopes to be a part of the film’s sequel. “I have realised that there are so many people who are there, who are doing their own thing. Everybody is on their own struggle. Maybe after this interview, Karan will call me and say that I am a part of Rocky Aur Rani Part 2.” When quipped that Ranveer would play his sidekick in the sequel, Rohit continued the banter. He said, “That will never happen. He will play my younger brother.”

While Rohit hasn’t yet worked under Karan’s direction, his brother has done that. Ronit Bose Roy was a part of Karan’s 2012 directorial Student Of The Year. He played the football coach in the film. Apart from that, he has been a part of many Karan’s productions too including 2 States.
