Karan Johar reveals criticism over Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone’s episode ‘angered’ him: I want to show them my f***ing middle finger

The popular talk show Koffee With Karan is everyone’s favourite or guilty pleasure. The show enjoys a huge fan following. Karan Johar has already come up with Koffee With Karan season and he started with a bang. His first guests were Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who created quite a stir on social media. Apart from coming together on the coffee couch together for the first time, they also started making headlines for different reasons. Both of them were heavily judged and criticised for their comments on casual dating.

Having said that, while talking about trolls, in the latest episode of KWK 8, Karan expressed his displeasure about the same. He said that the after-effect of the people towards Ranveer and Deepika angered him.

KJo said, “I thought it was one of the most honest episodes and the most heartfelt episodes that I did with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. I think all three of us came clean on so much of our emotional heft, so many of our feelings. And then there was a ridiculous kind of after-effect. I just want to put it out there that episode angered me and the reaction angered me. I thought it was one of our best episodes.”

“They were outstandingly honest, they were earnest, they spoke so much, they shared so much, they were so gracious. And then you’re fucking talking about some nonsense. I’m like ‘What do you know about somebody’s personal life and marriage? And what is happening in your own house? Focus on your family is what I wanted to tell all of them. I want to show them all my fucking middle finger,” he continued.
