Kareena Kapoor – My Role is Pivotel In Satyagraha

Gorgeous Kareena Kapoor portrays the role of Yashin a journalist in Prakash Jha’s political thriller Satyagraha . As per Kareena Kapoor, her character plays the pivotal role of bringing together the entire movement in the movie. “Yasmin kind of puts together the whole revolution, brings together the entire movement that we have shown in the film. It’s strong, it’s intense and I am happy that Prakashji thought of me for this role.”

Speaking about her preparation she said that as she is a director’s actor she had left everything on her director Prakash Jha who guided her through the role and she was also influenced by certain journalists too who are very focused and have no time for love .

She truly understood the travails a journalist has to go through, while depicting this role, “Our film shows that when she (the reporter) is on field and during the time of the revolution, she stays true to her work no matter what the situation is. I understand that the media has to do their job, their job is to report and have constant stories to report all the time, no matter where and how.”

The first look of Satyagraha starring Amitabh Bachchan , Ajay Devgn,  Kareena Kapoor was launched globally on Wednesday, the film will release on August 23.
