Bollywood actor Armaan Jain, who is the cousin of superstars like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He will be questioned in a money laundering case. Armaan’s residence at Mumbai’s Altamount road area was raided by the ED that lasted reportedly for two and a half hours. The raid was undertaken on Tuesday that is February 9, 2021.

According to a report by India TV, the raid took place in relation to the Tops Group case that is currently being investigated. The report further said that Jain is close to Vihang Sarnaik who was also questioned by the ED and is the son of Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik. Along with Vihang, Pratap’s younger son Purvesh was also questioned by ED. Armaan’s Whatsapp chats with Vihang were under the scanner which eventually led to the summons. ED has conducted a raid at Pratap Sarnaik’s office in Mumbai back in November last year as well.
