Kiara Advani joins Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in War 2- Reports

The YRF spy universe is just getting bigger by the day. It already has 3 of the biggest superstars of the country with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The new additions are just making it all the more grand. First, Jr NTR came on board War 2 as the antagonist and now, reportedly Kiara Advani is the latest addition to the film.

Kiara is currently one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. Seeing her appeal, the makers have decided to rope her in the ambitious spy universe. A source told Pinkvilla, “Kiara Advani fits the bill to a T as far as YRF Spy Universe and War 2 is considered. The YRF Spy Universe is a league of all-time blockbuster films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War & Pathaan and the expectation from each movie coming out from this franchise is sky high... Kiara is right now at the top of the heap and Adi (Aditya Chopra) taking her for War 2 loudly signifies that.”

War 2 is said to be directed by Ayan Mukerji, taking over the reigns from Siddharth Anand. During IIFA 2023, Hrithik had exclusively confirmed to Bollywood Bubble that Jr NTR is a part of the film. The source further added, “War 2 right now has the hottest cast! You have three superstars in it like Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR & now Kiara Advani! Then you have the brightest young director of the country, Ayan Mukerji, directing War 2! Aditya Chopra is going all out to make this film the slickest and the coolest action entertainer that this country has ever seen.”

YRF spy universe

YRF spy universe already has 3 series running in it, Tiger, Pathaan and War. The first film in it was Ek Tha Tiger. This year with Pathaan, they had their biggest hit till date. The next release apart from War 2 in the spy universe is Tiger 3 with Salman and Katrina Kaif, coming this Diwali. They also have Tiger Vs Pathaan in pipeline. It will see Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan come head-to-head. There have been reports of spin-off films being in development too for John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Katrina’s characters.

Kiara Advani upcoming movies

Kiara will next be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in SatyaPrem Ki Katha, releasing on June 29, 2023. Apart from that, she also has Game Changer with Ram Charan.
