Actor Varun Dhawan, who will be seen in the sequel of 1997 Salman Khan starrer ‘Judwaa’, shared an interesting incident from his childhood days.

During the making of the film, Varun was only 7-years-old and he addressed Salman Khan as “uncle” which angered Salman Khan and he actually wanted to slap him. Varun said to a leading daily, “I went for trial (show of ‘Judwaa’) and I called him Salman uncle he got very upset. He told me ‘I will slap you if you call me that, call me Salman bhai. The actor who will be seen in ‘Judwaa 2’ which will be helmed by his father David Dhawan had spoken to Salman and told him that he does not want to disappoint him. He said, “We all have spoken to him it’s a personal thing. His blessings are always there. I don’t want to disappoint him (Salman), them (Sajid Khan and David Dhawan) and the audience.”

He also spoke about comparisons with the original ‘Judwaa’ actor, Salman Khan. He added, “I am not thinking about it you all keep reminding me. As an actor I do films for audience. When I do a film I don’t think about I will become this or that or my price will hike as an actor I will get ad I don’t think all this. Eventually audience should like your film.”

Also, another interesting fact that Varun revealed is that Salman has sent him a box full of jeans that he can wear in the movie for his character of Raja. ‘Judwaa 2’ stars Varun Dhawan in a double role opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The movie is slated to release on September 29, 2017.
