Kriti Sanon reacts to Rishi Kapoor’s anger on young actors for skipping Vinod Khanna’s funeral

Veteran actor Vinod Khanna breathed his last on April 27. His funeral witnessed a microscopic attendance from the actors of present generation, leaving another veteran Rishi Kapoor absolutely furious. Kapoor, who was at London with family at that time, couldn’t make it to Khanna’s funeral. But he took to Twitter to slam the youngsters.

Now, starlet Kriti Sanon has responded to Kapoor’s comments and believes that it was a completely situational scenario that cropped up.

“I would like to believe it was situational. I don’t think the present generation is less attached. I personally am emotional about people who I know and I am around,” Kriti told Filmibeat. (Also Read: Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon have their eyes just for each other in ‘Raabta’ new still)

“There can be individual reasons for people who knew Vinod Khanna and worked with him, but still were not there (funeral). There might be people who were not in Mumbai or were travelling. I can’t comment on someone as to why they didn’t turn up,”  she added.
