The marital spat between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja has garnered considerable media attention, especially after Sunita publicly accused her husband of having an affair with a younger actress, Komal Rani Swarnkar. Sunita criticized Govinda for allegedly “roaming around” with a girl “the age of his daughter,” leading to a heated exchange that has kept headlines buzzing. Recently, Sunita also withdrew a divorce petition she had filed back in 2024, adding further complexity to the ongoing dispute.

Pandey starred alongside Govinda in the 2017 film Aa Gaya Hero. She openly defended the actor and questioned Sunita’s criticism. Addressing the allegations, she told reporters, “Gaali mat do yaar. Itne achche pati dev mile hai, tumko Govinda mila hai. Kya baat kar rahe ho? Pehle se nahi pata tha kya ke woh itne bade star hai?” (Don’t abuse him. You have such a wonderful husband; you’ve got Govinda. Didn’t you know beforehand how big of a star he is?).

In response to rumours about Govinda traveling with his younger co-star, Pandey clarified that they were seen openly at the airport for work purposes. She emphasized that Govinda is simply doing his job and filming movies. The actress said, “Are peith peechhe thoda ghoome,” implying there’s nothing secretive about his outings.

Pandey also made it clear she would not support anyone who publicly insults Govinda. She stated, “Jo gaali de rahe unko thodi na support karungi” (I won’t support those who are abusing him). Her outspoken stance shows her as a loyal friend standing by Govinda during this turbulent phase of his personal life.
