Kriti Sanon recalls getting emotional on the last day of Adipurush shoot, here’s why

The teaser of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer highly-anticipated film Adipurush was released on Sunday. The Adipurush team unveiled Prabhas’ new poster and teaser in Ayodhya, Uttar Prabhas. Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram and Kriti plays Sita. Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Laskhman and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman.

At the teaser launch of the film, Kriti Sanon opened up about doing Adipurush. The actress called it as ‘dream experience’. She also revealed that she got emotional on the last day of shoot.

Kriti said, “Only few get the chance to be a part of these epic films. Janaki is my memorable role. And during last day, I became emotional because I was associated with the character and team. It’s my dream experience.”

On the other hand, Prabhas also opened up about working in Adipurush. The actor said, “I was really frightened to portray this character. After three days of the fear, I called Om (Raut). We made the film with lot of love, respect, and fear. Now, we need Lord Rama’s blessing. Jai Shree Ram.”

Adipurush is directed by Om Raut. It will be released on 12 January, 2023.

Apart from Adipurush, Kriti has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actress will be sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in Shehzada. The actress will also be seen in Ganapath I with Tiger Shroff and in Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. Bhediya is scheduled to release on 25^th November, 2022. Talking about Prabhas, he has Salaar in his kitty.
