Soon after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges pertaining to the 2002 Hit & Run Case, Maharashtra Government decided to move to the Supreme Court against Bombay High Court’s verdict on the same.

Salman Khan was accused of driving under the influence of Alcohol which led him towards a rash driving, causing a death and few other people getting severely injured. After a lot of twists and turns which included the death of the primary witness Ravindra Patil who also happened to be Salman Khan’s bodyguard in past, Salman’s singer friend Kamaal Khan (who was with Salman that night) disappearing mysteriously, Salman Khan’s blood sample going missing while on the way to the lab and the constable in-charge being ‘untraceable’ and more, Salman was finally announced free and not guilty.

While the verdict has given rise to debates, Khan’s fellow colleagues and friends from Bollywood can be seen in a joyous mood. However, the Maharashtra Government is aiming to appeal to the Supreme Court as soon as possible. The biggest question which still remains undressed is who killed Noorullah Khan, if none of Salman Khan or his driver were driving?

Further announcements regarding the same from Maharashtra Government are awaited.
