Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have finally tied the knot after creating a much buzz about their hush affair wedding.  The couple had got married in a private ceremony at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in Khandala in presence of their loved ones.

Now, Malaika Arora took to her social media and wished the newlywedded couple. The EMI actress shared a picture of Shibani and Farhan. She wrote: “Congratulations, Farhan, Shibani…lots of love n happiness (sic).” Soon after, Shibani reposted and wrote: “thank you Malla so much love.”

The recent reports state that Farhan Akhtar and his wife Shibani Dandekar will get their marriage registered today.

Meanwhile, the lovebirds kick-started their wedding celebrations on Thursday, 17 February, and held a few other functions before tying the knot on 19 February. Farhan and Shibani have been dating for many years now and have never shied away from showcasing their love to one another.

The wedding ceremony was attended by Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar, Farhan’s parents Javed and Honey Irani, sister Zoya Akhtar, and step mother Shabana Azmi. Other celebrities who were also present were Rhea Chakraborty, Hrithik Roshan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora, Shankar Mahadevan, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Satish Shah, Amrita Arora, Gaurav Kapur, Samir Kochhar,  Ashutosh Gowariker, and Monica Dogra.

The official wedding picture is yet to be shared by the couple. However, as per the photos that are doing rounds on the internet, the Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara actor donned a black tuxedo and look absolutely dapper in it, while, his ladylove ditched the mainstream lehenga or saree, and instead opted for a red fish-cut gown along with a red veil.
