Filmmaker Sudarshan Rattan passed away on Thursday. He lost his battle with Covid-19 and left us for his heavenly abode. Sudarshan had directed Madhuri Dixit in ‘Manav Hatya’ in 1986. Shekhar Suman, who was a close friend of Rattan mourned the filmmaker’s death.

Sharing the sad news, Shekhar took to his Twitter account and wrote, “Lost one of my dearest friends Sudarshan Rattan to Corona.He directed me in my second film with Madhuri Dixit.He fell on bad days was poor but a very honest man.We kept in touch.He wd call up and often be home.Will miss u my friend.Rest in peace.”

Actress Tinaa Ghaai also took to her Twitter account and mourned Rattan’s death, she wrote, “Sudarshan Rattan jee who played a major role in mine and #madhuridixit s life has left a big void behind him the void he has left behind will be impossible to fill ?? Why u left like this why ????.”

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sudharshan’s family. May his soul rest in peace.
