‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’: After Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul also tests positive for Covid-19

The team of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ had only recently started the shoot for the film but the shoot has been stalled as the cast has tested positive for Covid-19. Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and the rest of the cast had jetted off to Chandigarh for the shoot but the makers had to pull the brakes due to unexpected turn of events.

Recently, Varun, Neetu and director Raj Mehta had tested positive for Covid-19 and now it is reported that comedian turned actor Maniesh has also tested positive or Covid-19. A report by ETimes says that a source revealed that Maniesh had returned to Mumbai when he started feeling feverish and after getting tested his results came positive.

Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani had also got tested but they have tested negative. Boney Kapoor had confirmed to ETimes, “Anil has tested negative.” Anil Kapoor also refuted the reports of he being tested Covid-19 positive. He returned to Mumbai recently after the shoot was halted.

‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ also stars Prajakta Koli. The movie will mark the comeback of Neetu Kapoor to the silver screen after being seen in ‘Besharam’ in 2013.
