Marjaavaan-Mid Ticket Review

Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria have come together for the actioner ‘Marjaavaan’. The film has an immense hype around it. But will it be able to stay true to its buzz?

We are currently watching the film at a theater nearby. Here’s how the first half of the movie is looking like.

Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria starrer ‘Marjaavaan’ is a snooze fest. The film is pathetically slow with cliché ridden dialogues in pretty much every frame.

While I didn’t have much hope from Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria, however, I had expectations from Riteish Deshmukh as a villain. However, a whole bucket of water has been poured on those expectations of mine. Rakul Preet Singh is hardly there in blink and miss scenes.

Talking about the story of the film, it’s already midway and I am still unsure what this film is about. I might give a ₹2000 prize to someone who might be able to find out some storyline in this film. It’s just a string of situations joined together claiming to be the plot of the story. I am too confused after watching the convoluted first half of this predictable and excruciatingly slow-paced film.

I am hardly looking forward to the second half. I wish I could just doze off for the forthcoming half of the film, otherwise would have just screamed ‘Bhaago’ and runoff from the theater.
