Medha Shankr, Avinash Tiwary Reveal If They Connected With Vikrant Massey, Yami Gautam

When asked whether they spoke to Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam, Medha Shankr said, “ I’ve watched Ginny Weds Sunny as an audience. But I think a lot of people feel this is a continuation, which it is not. It’s a very fresh film. Someone was asking us for tips, but honestly, that’s not what the character or script demands. I know Vikrant is aware that I’m doing this film, and I’m sure he’s very happy about it. I can’t wait for him to watch it because Yami and Vikrant did such a pyaara job. They were very adorable and endearing in their performances. I can just assure you that we are just as cute and endearing, and I just want their best wishes for this film.”

Responding to the same question, Avinash Tiwary replied, “Well, I haven’t had the fortune of connecting personally with Yami and Vikrant. All I can think and hope is that they feel proud that we’ve taken this step forward, and I hope they like it.”

Avinash Tiwari On Pressure To Do The Sequel

When asked whether he felt any pressure to match up to the first instalment, Avinash Tiwary responded, “Dekhiye, upar waale ki dua se pyaar hamesha mila hai. Humein toh lagta hai ki agar hum achha kaam karenge toh pyaar milna hi chahiye, so I would want to trust and back that more than anything else. Mujhe pressure toh nahi feel ho raha, lekin haan, all you want to do is put in your best effort. Itna saara logon ka effort hota hai yaar. So many people come together to make a film, so much time and hard work go into it. So you just wish ki jo humne intent kiya hai, woh logon tak sahi tareeke se pahunche, bas.”
