Meet The Parents – Arjun Kapoor – Alia Bhatt style

All you young couples Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have come up with three tips for meeting the parents in real life and impressing them. Well they are playing a couple in their upcoming movie ‘2 States’ who have the unenviable tasks of having to not only win over their in-laws to be, but also to make both sets of parents get along.

The three tips recommended by the stars are :-

1.Don’t wear anything loud or revealing. “I’m conservative. If I’m wearing a skirt I’ll go home and change into jeans. It’s more respectful,” says Alia

2.Don’t be too ‘touchy-feely”

3. Be yourself. “First impressions are very important when you meet the parents. You’ll have to sustain that first meeting for the rest of your life so be as honest and as simple as possible because you can’t keep up a facade with people you are going to see for the rest of your life,” says Arjun
