Naseeruddin Shah turns 70: Anil Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Randeep Hooda wish the veteran actor

Naseeruddin Shah, one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood, is celebrating his 70th birthday today. The veteran actor is notable in Indian parallel cinema and has given us some memorable films like ‘Mandi’, ‘Ardh Satya’, ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’, Mirch Masala’, ‘Nishant’ to name a few. From Padma Shri to Padma Bhushan, the veteran actor has been awarded the highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema.

On his birthday, several Bollywood celebs took to their social media handle to wish him on his special day. Everyone right from Anil Kapoor to Randeep Hooda wished the ‘Ishqiya’ actor. Check out their posts.

Randeep Hooda recalled a special anecdote. “My nani was so convinced after watching #NaseeruddinShah in Mirch Masala, she said “भाई यो भोत भुंड्डा आदमी है इस्ते बच के रहियो” it was probably my first lesson on conviction of a character.. from generations of actors inspired by you – happy 70th birthday Naseer bhai, ” Hooda wrote.
