Nawazuddin Siddiqui to star with Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj’s next

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently basking in the success of his hit Netflix web series ‘Sacred Games’ alongside Saif Ali Khan. Post the web series, the actor has signed his next and guess what? he will soon feature alongside none other than South Superstar Rajinikanth.

Nawazuddin will be seen with Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj’s next directorial. This news was revealed by the production house of the film today. The production house, Sun Pictures, announced that Simran will be playing the leading lady and Nawazuddin will be seen in an important role in the film.

The official handle wrote, “We are happy to announce that for the first time, @SimranbaggaOffc and @Nawazuddin_S will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures”

The first schedule of the film has already wrapped up in Darjeeling and Dehradun. According to recent reports, the second schedule of the film will take place for 15 days in Dehradun where the leading lady, Simran will join Rajinikanth for the shoot. No information regarding Nawaz’s shooting schedule has been reported till now. The untitled film also stars Bobby Simhaa, Sanath Reddy, Megha Akash and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

Apart from this project, Nawazuddin will soon be seen in  Bal Thackeray’s biopic titled, ‘Thackeray’ which is set to release on 23rd January 2019. The actor also has ‘Manto’ which was appreciated by many at prestigious International Film Festivals. If reports are to be believed then, the actor is also a part of Ranveer Singh’s ’83’ which is directed by Kabir Khan and will hit theaters in 2020. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan, who will soon make her Bollywood debut with Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Kedarnath’.
