Composed by Dhruv Ghanekar, sung by Vijay Lal Yadav, and penned by Pyarelal Devanath Yadav, the track fuses North Indian folk influences with playful English verses. It weaves in tabla beats, harmonium flourishes, and an irresistible, foot-tapping rhythm. Capturing the true desi masala spirit of Nishaanchi, this vibrant number lingers long after it ends, making you feel every beat.

Sharing his experience composing Dear Country, Dhruv Ghanekar said, “The idea was simple — capture the flavour of the hinterland, the moment you hear it. We began with a traditional sound, then flipped it with desi, broken-English lyrics, the kind you hear in small-town conversations, straight from the heart. I had complete freedom to match the madness and heart of Nishaanchi’s script. Anurag’s films always have a distinct sonic identity, so I wanted something fresh and unexpected. Dear Country ended up fun, quirky, rooted, and just the right amount of unfiltered.”

It has been directed by Anurag Kashyap. Nishaanchi is produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. The movie is written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel and Anurag Kashyap. It promises a gripping cinematic experience that explores the tangled relationship between two brothers. They walk starkly different paths, revealing how their choices shape their destinies. The film features debutant Aaishvary Thackeray in a fiery double role. Also starring are Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra. The film will hit theatres across the country on September 19.
