No financial issues for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’

This morning we came across a report on an entertainment web portal that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, which is produced by Viacom 18, is facing financial issues. And the director has approached Siddharth Roy Kapur to co-produce the film.

However, CEO Bhansali Productions, Shobha Sant has denied the reports.

Even Bhansali Productions’ fan club denied the reports, and tweeted to the entertainment web portal, “Wrong Information.”

A leading daily reported the same and also quoted that the budget of the film is Rs 190 crore. So in a couple of tweets, Shobha Sant wrote, “Sorry NOT TRUE. Only @viacom18 @AndhareAjit @Sudhanshu_Vats onboard for #SanjayLeelaBhansali’s #Padmavati. and your numbers are incorrect too! Baksh do yaar! ?! Let us focus on making a gr8 film.” [sic]

We hope that these false reporting is stopped by the leading dailies and the entertainment web portals.
