OMG – Begum Kareena Kapoor as Marathi Mulgi

The gorgeous Kareena Kapoor will be spouting Marathi in Rohit Shetty next flick ‘Singham 2’. Bebo will be playing a middle class Maharashtrian woman who will be  shown breaking into fluent fast-flowing Marathi in her excitable moments. Ajay Devgn will be playing the role of her cop husband in it.

As per sources, Kareena will not only  dress, but also talk like a typical Maharashtrian woman from the suburbs. “Kareena knows a smattering of Marathi but for the part in Singham 2, she will practice the Marathi with her Maharashtrian friends.”In the sequel the female lead will hold a pivotal role in the plot.

Kareena Kapoor was quite excited with the new role that she will be playing.“Would you believe it, I’ve never played a Maharashtrian before. I am really looking forward it. I know Rohit Shetty will make sure my character comes out right.”
