Padmavati: Ranveer Singh says goodbye to Alauddin Khilji

Amongst all the posts on social media today, Ranveer Singh‘s was the most touching and heartfelt post we got to see.

The actor took to Twitter to inform his fans that his year-long association with ‘Padmavati’ as the pure evil avatar of Alauddin Khilji has come to an end as he gave his last shot today in Filmcity here in Mumbai. The actor tweeted about it and said, “And it’s a wrap! Goodbye Alauddin. 1 year and a few weeks later, I bid thee farewell. May your restless soul find its peace… #Khilji.”

The movie also stars Deepika Padukone in the titular role, and Shahid Kapoor will be playing the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh.

‘Padmavati’ also stars Aditi Rao Hydari who will be seen playing the role of Khilji’s wife. A few days ago, Deepika and Aditi both had wrapped their respective shoots, and now, it is Ranveer who have completed the shooting of the film. The trailer of the film was launched a few days ago, and it was Ranveer Singh who had stolen the show. The actor will be seen playing a negative role in ”Padmavati, for the first time ever and it is said that the character had taken a toll on him.

‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on December 1, 2017, and we simply can’t wait to watch the film.
