Palash Muchhal and cricketer Smriti Mandhana, once a beloved celebrity couple, have been making headlines for deeply troubling reasons. The duo, whose engagement had charmed fans across social media, was set to marry on November 23, 2025. However, the wedding was abruptly called off, shocking everyone. While the initial delay stemmed from Smriti’s father suffering a heart-related medical emergency, matters escalated when rumours of Palash’s alleged infidelity surfaced.

As conversations intensified online, Palaash’s cousin Neeti Tak issued a heartfelt appeal on social media, urging people not to jump to conclusions. She wrote, “Palash is in a critical condition today. Please don’t judge him without knowing the truth. Technology has advanced far beyond human understanding—people shouldn’t form opinions based on rumours. Pray for him.”

Soon after, Palaash was discharged from a Mumbai hospital. According to sources, he was allegedly involved with choreographer Mary D’Costa before the wedding. Their leaked chats went viral, sparking speculation that Smriti called off the ceremony due to his actions. The cricketer subsequently deleted all her photos with Palaash, including pre-wedding posts. As cheating allegations continued to gain traction, Neeti reiterated that Palaash’s deteriorating health required compassion rather than criticism.
Palaash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, visited him in the hospital and later appealed to the media for sensitivity. In an Instagram note, she wrote, “Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We request everyone to respect the families’ privacy during this sensitive time.”
Adding to the emotional whirlwind, Smriti quietly removed all her pre-wedding photos and videos, retaining only older images with Palaash.
Palaash Gets Discharged
Palaash Muchhal, who had been admitted to SRV Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai for the past three days after experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing, has now been discharged. Hospital authorities confirmed that he received the necessary treatment and is currently stable as reported by NDTV.
Palaash’s hospitalisation came during an emotionally sensitive time. The wedding of Palaash and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was recently postponed indefinitely after Smriti’s father suffered heart-attack-like symptoms. Before being moved to Mumbai, Palaash was briefly admitted to a hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra. Although his discharge offers some relief, both families have refrained from making any announcements regarding a new wedding date.
