Govinda Issues Public Notice Over Court Marriage Rumours

The actor’s notice specifically targets the creation and dissemination of AI-generated and fabricated content. It stated that Govinda has not authorised anyone to manipulate his voice, image, or personal and family-related material through digital means. This includes deepfakes, morphing, or other synthetic content. The notice emphasises that legal action will be taken against violators under applicable laws. It includes the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Govinda has warned that individuals or entities spreading false information could face civil and criminal proceedings. The claims for damages could potentially reach up to Rs 100 crore. The actor may also seek court orders to freeze bank accounts, restrict property transactions, seize passports, and pursue other legal remedies against those spreading defamation or violating privacy.

The notice specifically calls out YouTube channels and social media accounts that are accused of deliberately spreading misleading or false content about him. Govinda expressed concern that such reports are intentional attempts to damage his reputation and public image. This decisive action follows a period of intense rumors and media speculation surrounding Govinda’s personal life. The viral conversation was between Sunita Ahuja and Rakhi Sawant.
